These general terms of sale (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed on the website www.joeandmey.com by consumers. The seller is BKE Levallois, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €10,000, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 882 016 405, whose registered office is at 43 rue Marius Aufan, 92300 Levallois-Perret, France (EU VAT number FR01882016405), operating the Joe & Mey brand (hereinafter “Joe & Mey”). Contact: contact@joeandmey.com – +33 7 66 49 66 06.
The customer accepts the Terms in force on the day of the order before confirming it.
Hats, berets, caps, beanies and accessories are presented on their product page with their essential characteristics (material, composition, dimensions, sizes, colors). Photos are as accurate as possible; slight color differences may occur depending on the screen. A size guide is available. Products are offered while stocks last.
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (French VAT included), excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are shown before the order is confirmed and are detailed in the shipping policy. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and local taxes may be charged to the recipient. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of ordering.
The customer chooses their items, adds them to the cart, enters their details and shipping method, checks the summary and then confirms the order by clicking the payment button, which entails an obligation to pay. An email confirming the order is then sent. Joe & Mey may refuse or cancel an order in the event of a previous payment dispute, an abnormal order or an obvious pricing error; the customer is then refunded in full.
Payment is made online at the time of ordering, using the methods offered on the payment page (bank card, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, etc.). Payments are secured by our payment provider: Joe & Mey never has access to bank details. A Joe & Mey gift card can be used up to its amount and within its validity period.
Products are delivered to the address given by the customer, within the areas, times and rates described in the shipping policy. In France, orders are shipped within 24 business hours and delivered in 1 to 3 business days; delivery to a pickup point is free from €100. Pickup is free at our store in Levallois-Perret.
If no date is indicated, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order. In the event of a delay, the customer may request delivery within a reasonable additional period and, failing that, terminate the contract (articles L216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when they take physical possession of the products (article L216-4). If a parcel arrives damaged, we advise you to report it to the carrier and to write to us promptly with photos.
Period. The customer has 14 days from receipt of the product (or of the last product in the case of separate deliveries) to withdraw, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). This right also applies to sale or discounted items.
How to withdraw. The customer informs Joe & Mey of their decision before the end of the period: by email to contact@joeandmey.com, by post, or online on our returns portal (joeandmey.com/a/return), using, if they wish, the model form below. An acknowledgment of receipt is sent by email.
Returning the products. The customer returns the products no later than 14 days after communicating their decision, via the returns portal (Chronopost label generated automatically), by their own means to: Joe & Mey, 43 rue Marius Aufan, 92300 Levallois-Perret, France, or brings them back to the store free of charge. Return costs are borne by the customer: for a refund via the portal, €7 is deducted for the return label (€0 in store), except for defective products or an error on our part. The customer may be held liable for any loss in value of the products resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and proper functioning (normal trying on is of course possible).
Refund. Joe & Mey refunds all sums paid, including the original shipping costs (on the basis of the cheapest standard shipping method offered), no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal, using the payment method used for the order. The refund may be withheld until the products have been received or until proof of their shipment has been provided.
Store credit and exchange. Instead of a refund, the customer may choose store credit (no expiry date, valid online and in store, free return label) or an exchange for the same model in another size or color, subject to stock (free return label; new shipment at €3.95 to a pickup point or €6.95 to the home, free with in-store pickup or in store). Details are on the Shipping and returns page.
Exception. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized (article L221-28).

To BKE Levallois – Joe & Mey, 43 rue Marius Aufan, 92300 Levallois-Perret, France – contact@joeandmey.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods:
– Ordered on / received on:
– Order number:
– Name of consumer:
– Address of consumer:
– Signature of consumer (only if this form is notified on paper):
– Date:
All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). To exercise them, write to contact@joeandmey.com.
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests repair of the goods but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date of replacement.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund upon return of the goods, if:
1° The seller refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring the goods into conformity.The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer is then not required to request repair or replacement first.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the repaired goods are delivered.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who, in bad faith, obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund upon return of the goods.
For any question or complaint: contact@joeandmey.com, +33 7 66 49 66 06 (phone and WhatsApp), or at the store, 43 rue Marius Aufan, 92300 Levallois-Perret, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm. We reply within 24 business hours.
In the event of a dispute, the customer first sends a written complaint to Joe & Mey (contact@joeandmey.com). If no amicable agreement is reached, they may use a consumer mediator (articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) or refer the matter to the competent court.
The data collected when ordering is necessary to process and deliver the order and for customer service. Its processing and your rights are described in the privacy policy.
The texts, photos, visuals, logos and the Joe & Mey brand are protected. Any reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers residing in another European Union country of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country. The consumer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred, or before any other competent court.
