Measure your head circumference

You need a soft tape measure, or a piece of string and a ruler.

1 cm
The tape goes around the middle of the forehead, above the ears and around the back of the head.
  1. Place the tape around the middle of your forehead, about 1 cm above your eyebrows and ears.
  2. Go all the way around your head horizontally, over the widest part of the back of your head. The tape should sit snugly, without squeezing.
  3. Note the measurement in centimeters and measure a second time to check. That is your head circumference.

Between two sizes? Choose the larger one. If you often wear a bun or very voluminous hair, measure with your usual hairstyle.

Shapes

Boater, fedora, beret, bucket hat… what’s the difference?

Each shape has its own style. Here are our models, family by family.

Boater

Flat crown and straight brim, sharp and clean: the most graphic silhouette. In wool felt handmade in Italy.

  • Coco, small 6 cm brim
  • Ralph, wide 9 cm brim
S · M · L, inner drawstring

Fedora

Crown pinched at the top and front, soft brim: often called a “borsalino”. Timeless and unisex.

  • John, 6.5 cm brim, 5 sizes XS to XL
  • Chloé, asymmetric 8 cm brim, S · M · L
Fixed sizes or inner drawstring

Beret

Round and soft, with no brim: the great Parisian classic. Worn tilted to the side or set towards the back.

  • Asymmetric, which falls to the side (our best-seller)
  • Emily, the classic Parisian beret
  • Gina toque, round and structured, worn straight
  • Gigi, with a small visor
  • Veil, rolled brim and veil
Adjustable 55 to 59 cm (Emily 54 to 59)

Bucket hat

Round crown and a brim that falls all around the face: soft, enveloping and warm, in 100% wool.

  • Audrey, long 8 cm brim, 55 to 59 cm
  • Mary, short 5 cm brim, 55 to 58 cm
Inner adjuster

Wool caps

A short visor and a more or less structured crown, for a chic everyday look.

Our advice

Which shape suits your face?

Some pointers to guide you. The surest way is still to try them on, and choose what you love.

Round

Clean lines and height: fedora, boater, or a beret worn well tilted.

Oval

Almost every shape suits you: try the asymmetric fedora or the toque.

Long

A wider brim and a low crown: wide-brim boater, Audrey bucket hat.

Square

Soft, rounded shapes to soften your features: beret, bucket hat.

Heart

A medium brim for balance: Coco boater, Mary bucket hat, Gigi beret.

Wearing it well

The right moves

Fedora and boater

Worn straight or slightly towards the back, about a finger’s width above the eyebrows.

Beret

Neither pulled down nor centered: tilted to one side, or set back to show the forehead.

Adjusting

On adjustable models, the adjuster is inside; on the boaters and the Chloé, a drawstring tightens by up to 2 sizes.

Caring for felt

Do not wash with water; dry clean if necessary. Details are on each product page.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I’m between two sizes, which should I choose?

The larger one. On the boaters and the Chloé fedora, the inner drawstring tightens by up to 2 sizes; on adjustable models, the inner adjuster does the rest.

What does “one size, adjustable” mean?

The hat has an adjuster (inside, or at the back on baseball caps) that fits it to your head circumference, within the range shown on the product page, for example 55 to 59 cm.

Are sizes the same for women and men?

Yes: the size depends only on your head circumference in centimeters. Several models are unisex, such as the John fedora, the Billy cap, the baseball caps and the balaclava.

What if the size doesn’t fit?

You have 14 days to exchange it for another size: the return label is free, or you can exchange it free of charge in store. Everything is explained on our Shipping and returns page.

Can I try before buying?

Yes, in our store at 43 rue Marius Aufan, Levallois-Perret: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
